the idea
The idea is to create a series of children’s books, each with the goal of teaching children healthy behaviors. As we get older, life can become more overwhelming and busy, especially for parents, which is why this book can be beneficial for adults too. By constantly reading these books to children, adults can also practice these skills and stay on top of their mental health!
We’ll start the series with Cooper the Corgi who teaches self-care tips that will help you always keep yourself feeling
loved, cherished and cared for. More animal characters will come along in the series, each featuring a new healthy habit to practice!

They also learn to nurture by taking care of their stuffed friend.
Each book’s character gets its own stuffed animal for children to love. Parents can buy their children’s favorite characters as stuffed animals. Children will enjoy learning from the characters in these books and will want to hold their favorite characters near and dear to them.

insight
“We learn how to calm down by being shown how to do it and being raised near calm people who are at peace with themselves.”
— Break the Cycle Coaching
Children need to see healthy habits active in their family and then they will be able to adapt to the same behaviors. As parents, we are responsible to practice caring for our mental health so that our children can see those values and naturally take them on for themselves. This book can not only bring new mental health awareness to children, but it can also be a reminder to parents and adults to take care of themselves and positive ways to do so.
